Filming day 6
Today we have filmed the speech about the skills assessment and i helped to set up the lights and use them.

Meeting - day 5
As the storyboard artist i have to hand in 3 storyboards to use when filming. We last filmed on wednesday but i was not needed as only a few shots were required so lighting was not required.
When i was using the lighting i had to work with the other light operators as well as the director to see if the positioning of the lights was suitable. This means i had to always check if the lighting was good and that the shadows were ok.
I also had to hand in the production plan which includes the treatment, budgets and schedule.
Legal issues with filming could be the filming of people without their permission, that is why me and everyone in the film had to sign a talent release form. Another issue is about filming is if the location is safe. This is why we had to write a location recce of all the filming locations we went to. These were done before filming begun so we could make sure the location was safe.

day 4
Today the finished storyboards were handed to the director so that we could film the the shots I had drawn.
Today i have also been helping out with the lights as i am the lighting assistant. This involved me setting up the lights and the carrying of equipment.
We were filming in the cafe and the common room as the fresher fair had taken place. we filmed a group of people from health and care.

The group have confirmed what dates we will be filming:
tuesday 11th january - filming cafe and common room 9:00 - 12:15
friday 21st january - filming clc 1:15 - 16:30

meeting 2
The group has decided what days that they are going to film. The days are:
10th of January - Entrance, Student Services and common room.
17th of January - Cafe and CLC
24th of January - Salon, Motor Vehicle and Farm
As my roles are being the Storyboard artist, Assistant Editor and assistant lighting technician these are the jobs i have to do:
I have to talk to the the director and discuss what must be included in the storyboard. Once i know what must be included within the story board i will begin to produce them. I will help to set up the lights and operate them. Once the footage has been filmed me and the other editors will cut and edit the footage so that it looks better.
